Dragon Tails conference - October 2009

Tseen Khoo was part of the convening team for ‘Dragon Tails: Re-Intepreting Chinese-Australian Heritage’ (9-11 October; Sovereign Hill, Ballarat, Victoria). The conference brought together a wide range of disciplines including history, archaeology, tourism, cultural studies, education, and museum/heritage studies. It also incorporated comparative inter-colonial and transnational perspectives of Chinese-Australian heritage and history. Khoo and Keir Reeves are guest-editing a special issue of Australian Historical Studies, which is derived from this conference.
