Fieldwork in Honolulu & Seattle - September 2010

Tseen Khoo will be undertaking fieldwork in the USA in early September. Her prime sites of research are Honolulu, Hawai'i, and Seattle, Washington.

Tseen is responsible for the festivals and community celebration component of the ARC project, and her international research will include examining the Okinawan Festival in Waikiki (4-5 Sept), studying Seattle’s Wing Luke Museum’s public activities, and holding discussions with Asian American Studies colleagues at the Universities of Hawai'i and Washington.
