Public lecture in Melbourne & presentation at ASAA - July 2008

Tseen Khoo organised a public lecture by Professor Mae Ngai (Columbia U, USA) on 12 July 2008. The Museum of Chinese Australian History is co-sponsoring the talk with the Asian Australian Studies Research Network.

Dean Chan presented a paper titled “Diasporic Chinese Identifications and the Citational Function of Mythological Referents: Kate Beynon and Gene Yang” at the 17th Biennial Conference of the Asian Studies Association of Australia held in Melbourne on 1-3 July 2008.
